Overview

Senior Tech Companion is an early product experiment focused on making technology support calmer, safer, and easier for older adults. The idea is to combine plain-language guides, scam-awareness checklists, device/account organization, and support preparation materials into a simple toolkit.

Why I’m Building It

This concept comes from real-world repair and customer support experience. I often see customers who are not just dealing with broken devices; they are dealing with confusing accounts, lost passwords, unclear settings, scam risks, and anxiety around technology. This project is about turning technical support into something calmer, clearer, and more useful.

Problem

  • Many older adults feel overwhelmed by passwords, apps, updates, scams, and device settings.
  • Traditional tech support can feel rushed, confusing, or filled with technical language.
  • Families often become the default support system but may not have time to help consistently.
  • Seniors need plain-language guidance, safety reminders, and organized support resources.

Who It Helps

  • Older adults who struggle with phones, tablets, computers, email, or online accounts.
  • Families who want safer and more organized tech support for a parent or grandparent.
  • Repair/support businesses that want a clearer package for senior customers.
  • People who need scam-awareness guidance and simplified tech instructions.
